For parents and teachers
CACMath is free math for children aged 5 to 9. A child plays first, then answers a few questions.
What your child learns
- Counting to 100 (Kindergarten, ages 5 to 6): Count, compare and skip count.
- Add and subtract to 20 (Grade 1, ages 6 to 7): Join, take away and make 10.
- Tens and ones (Grade 1 and 2, ages 6 to 8): Place value to 100.
The courses follow the US Common Core for kindergarten to grade 2. In Australia this is Foundation to Year 2 maths.
How to use it together
- Open an explainer and let your child move things first.
- Read the short question out loud.
- Ask your child to say the answer before they tap.
- Stop after ten minutes. Short and often works best at this age.
Each explainer page has a "For grown-ups" box with three questions to ask.
Free, with no ads and no accounts
- There are no ads on CACMath.
- Your child does not sign up or type a name.
- We collect no personal information. Read the privacy page.
Who makes it
Senty makes CACMath. For children aged 8 and up, our sister site Math Ventures has fractions, times tables and more.
